What Time to
Use on wedding Announcements
|
Q.
My question is
regarding the time on the wedding announcement. We are getting
mixed answers. Our Daughter will be walking down the aisle at
4:00, should that be the time on the announcement or an earlier
time?
A.
The time that you write
on the invitation should be the time that the ceremony starts and
the time that all of the guests are expected to be in their seats,
in your case, 4:00. The ceremony actually starts with the candle
lighting (if there will be candles), the seating of the mothers and
the optional seating of the grandmothers, and the entrance of the
wedding party, so your daughter will actually walk down the aisle
closer to 4:08 or 4:10.
