A. Dear Tammy
In many parts of the country, September is considered in the middle of the busiest wedding
season there is, since the weather is more dependable then. A general answer to your
question would be
that off-season in most places, other than Hawaii or similar locales, would be November,
and then January through March. There is definitely money to be saved during these
seasons, sometimes as much as 1/3 of the facility rental fee, because the facility
managers are more desperate for your business. You can also save money, even in the
busiest wedding season months by having your wedding on a less common day of the week -
many times marrying Monday - Thursday will save you a great deal of money. It is not
possible to be precise about amounts of money to be saved without more information about
your wedding, but in general you will save money by choosing less popular dates and times.
Best of luck to you!
Gayle
