Seating
answered by Gayle ODonnell

Q.I have one query. My partner's parents have both re married. What order do we seat them at the top table along with my two parents and the Best man?

Thanks
Elisabeth Towle

A. As far as the order of seating remarried parents at the reception, this is often-times most easily handled by having more than one "head table".  The main head table could consist of the bride and groom, maid of honor and best man, and their "significant others", assuming they have them.  Then there can be two more tables for parents and grandparents, at each of which you would
put one set of the remarried parents.  Then grandparents, your parents, the officiant if he or she is invited, and any other important members can be seated with them.
